Qualification and Responsibilities:
Qualification:
Chinese and English Bilingual (Can read, write, speak Chinese and English)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Familiar with basic office software (e.g., MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Interested in education and development issues in China
Have basic understanding in rural China
Identify with the philosophy of human center development and sustainable development
Responsibilities:
Fund raising for US Zigen
Collect and prepare materials for fund raising
Organize fund raising events
Outreach to new donor base (students, young professionals, corporations, grants giving institute, NGOs)
Coordination with existing donors
Promotion for US Zigen
Organize outreach programs (conferences, seminars etc)
Network and collaborate with Chinese community organizations and other organizations
Liaise with China Zigen:
Prepare and organize materials for project proposals and reports from China Zigen to US donors
Engage and liaise with counterparts in China Zigen, may need to travel to China once a year.
Assist the president and chairperson, including serve as coordinator for various US Zigen meetings, for examples:
Organize regular bi-monthly meetings for US ECM
Organize annual membership meeting
Organize annual Board meeting
